“Caribou and You”
In the spring of 2003, Karsten Heuer and his wife, Leanne Allison set out on a thousand-mile trek across Alaska to document the annual migration of the Porcupine Caribou Herd. Five months later they return to their base camp in Old Crow, changed forever. Listen to their extraordinary story and the science that explains their journey into the mysterious world of the quantum energy field.
Karsten and Leanne, together with their two and one-half-year-old son, Zev, are traveling across Canada by foot, by canoe and sailboat to pay tribute to the ageing literary legend, Farley Mowat, whom they will meet at journey-end. Worked for a decade at AT&T Bell Laboratories and later GTE Laboratories on advanced telecommunications R&D, held appointments at Princeton University, University of Edinburgh, University of Nevada, SRI International and Interval Research Corporation. In 2000 cofounded the Boundary Institute. |
